If you’re tired of not getting straight answers to basic healthcare questions, like why your doctor’s office does or does not do something, or who you need to contact when you have a certain health issue, this blog is for you.

From almost 10,000 direct patient interactions as a family medicine medical scribe and receptionist, I know how the doctor’s office side of things work. From my background as an engineer, I am an excellent problem-solver and will find the answers that I don’t already have. From my experience as a patient, especially in mental health, I have deep empathy for the average person who needs help and is at a loss for how to find it.

So this is my attempt to provide simple answers to help people get the healthcare they need. This is healthcare, explained.

I plan to post weekly on Fridays
